Global director of strategy and operations, Edelman Business + Social Purpose
Having joined Edelman in 2012, Jeremy is currently Global Director of Strategy and Operations for the agency’s Business + Social Purpose practice, Edelman’s take on corporate social responsibility. Jeremy is a specialist in the area of sustainability, having advised senior management at companies including Unilever, Samsung, Johnson & Johnson, Heineken, Shell, and Philips on how to put Purpose at the heart of their brand and corporate strategy.
Jeremy was previously the Global Client Relationship Manager for Unilever, one of Edelman’s biggest clients. With Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) the cornerstone of the company strategy, Edelman has played an important role in the implementation of the USLP across all markets and brands, with solutions ranging from research and insights to digital and social engagement as well as traditional PR.
Jeremy has over fifteen years experience as a communications professional, with lead in-house roles in Fortune 50 companies, including Philips, Shell, and SWIFT, as well and consultancy at management level. Beyond senior experience across all the communications disciplines, Jeremy has almost ten years experience in the UK media as a journalist.
